One Weird Family

The story isn't quite straight in my mind yet,nor can I remember or tell it all since I wasn't there at the very begining.
It all started with a girl. Once special unique girl, my dear friend Sandy. Becoming a mom, my mom....and a mom for a lot of other "adopted" girls and boys she started her own little family, accepting anybody that was in need of a teen mom.
Soon the family grew, because of Sandy's never ending love, fun, nurture, crazyness and willingness to accept all as her daughters, even if that daughter was older than her and somebody she had never even met before.


Through and through her little family grew fast and soon I became part of it as well.
With new sisters, brothers, aunty's, nieces and nephews....we became what we are.
This is our legacy.
It doesn't have to make sense, the important thing is that it exists.
And hey, if it's a little screwed....we are One Weird Family after all.
